이 찬양을 남기게 된 계기는 첫아이 친구가 응급으로 닥터헬기로 권역 외상센터로 후송된 난 다음에 기억이 나서 찾아 듣고 은혜를 받아서 중보 기도를 하였는데...
베델 교회 내에서 잭슨이란 아이가 햄버거병-용혈성 요독 증후군(HUS)으로 크리스마스 이브때에 위급하게 쓰러지고 나서 교회와 SNS 중보기도를 함께 하는 중에 찬양 리더인 Jonathan & Melissa Helser이 약해지는 믿음과 더 기도할 힘이 생기지 않을 때에 작사작곡한 곡이라고 한 것을 뒤늦게 알게 되었다.
일주일간의 짧지만 응급 상황에서 놓여나는 상황을 지켜보면서...
베델교회가 기도의 은혜를 경험한 것 같이
중보기도에 함께 참여한 여러 사람들과 가정에 동일한 은혜와 감사함이 있을 것이다.
정말 하나님께 감사하고 놀라움에 이 찬양과 영광을 하나님께 올려드린다.
더불어서 모든 과정에서 물심양면 힘쓰고 애쓴 의료진과 도움주신 분들께도 감사하다.
그러기에 지금의 현대 사회가 더불어 함께 하는 힘을 발휘한다고 생각한다.
그리고 이 개인적인 범위를 넘어서 각자가 속한 교회 안으로
이 은혜함이 흐르기를 고대한다.
그부분에 눈이 뜨여지는 부분이라고 하겠다.
대한민국 교회는 부흥을 생각하지 말고 정말 교회의 교회됨을 잃어버린 것 같기 때문이다.
